The English Open Snooker 2022 is officially titled “2022 BetVictor English Open” this year. Sponsored by BetVictor, it is the 7th official ranking event of WST 2022-23 season.
This year’s English Open is officially a part of the BetVictor English Series, along with the Home Nations Series. Qualifier for the event was held from 25 to 30 October in Leicester. While the main event is scheduled to be hosted in Brentwood.
According to the officials, this year’s English Open features a purse pool of £427,000. Some of the top snooker professionals are participating in the event. Among them are World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, Judd Trump, recent Scottish Open Champion Gary Wilson and the defending champion Neil Robertson.
