ATP Houston is a professional men’s tennis competition. It is played in Houston, Texas annually under ATP Tour’s 250 series. Established in 1970, the tournament is a long-running outdoor clay court event.
The upcoming ATP Houston 2023 is officially titled as the “2023 Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships” for sponsorship purposes. It will begin on April 3rd on the Texas-based court with 28 singles and 16 doubles competitors.
This year’s event is featuring a total of $642,735 in purses. In addition, there will be some point distribution for participants to climb the ranks. Popular American professional, Frances Tiafoe will be the leading seed at the event.
In addition to the singles 14th ranked professional, there will be 7 more seeds there. The singles 19th ranked Tommy Paul will be the second seed at the Texas-based competition. While the 3rd seed Brandon Nakashima withdrew from the event.
