The tournament was established in 1993 for men and in 2011 for women. It is played on outdoor hard courts and is held in Granby, Quebec, Canada. It was known as the Challenger de Granby until this year’s edition.

The tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the past two years. Ernesto Escobedo is the defending champion as he holds the glory achieved in 2019. The American professional tennis player secured a 7–6, 6–4 victory against Japan’s Yasutaka Uchiyama.
Women’s: Lizette Cabrera
Lizette Cabrera won the women’s title in 2019 defeating Canada’s Leylah Annie Fernandez by 6–1, 6–4 in the finals. The Filipino Australian stood at her career-high singles ranking of No. 119 on 3 February 2020.
