The Mexican Open 2023, also known as the Abierto Mexicano Telcel is going to be held from February 27 at the Arena GNP Seguros.



Preview:

This year, it will be the 30th edition of the tournament. Mexican Open is an ATP 500 event and will be played on an outdoor hard court. Four of the world’s top 10 ATP-ranked players will participate.

The tournament will be led by the world’s current number 2 Carlos Alcaraz. Recently, he participated in the Rio Open but failed to defeat Cameron Norrie in the finals. He was also the winner of the Argentina Open 2023.

Casper Ruud is the second seed in the tournament. Ruud has participated in only 2 tournaments this year. He was out from the second round of the tournament. His first tournament of the year was the ASB Classic, he couldn’t pass the round of 16 in that event.

Taylor Fritz, Holger Rune, Cameron Norrie and many more players will participate in the tournament. Rafael Nadal is the defending champion, but he won’t be playing in the tournament this year.

When will the Mexican Open 2023 be held?

The tournament starts on Monday, February 27, and will continue till Saturday, March 4.
