Colsaerts is the reigning champion as there was no competition in 2020 or 2021. Robert MacIntyre, who won the Italian Open last week, is again in the field as he attempts to win back-to-back tournaments.

The tournament must follow a 72-hole stroke play format with a par of 71. The players can win a share of the €3,000,000 prize pool. 78 players are taking part in Tee-01’s opening round. The competition will consist of three rounds and 7331-yard play duration.

Defending Champion: Nicolas Colsaerts

In October 2019, Colsaerts triumphed at the Open de France at Le Golf National west of Paris, France. Nicolas Colsaerts is a professional golfer from Belgium. He was born on November 14, 1982, and currently plays on the European Tour after having previously played on the PGA Tour. He was a young man when he began his career.

Colsaerts finished 172nd on the Order of Merit in his inaugural season on the European Tour, which was disappointing. Colsaerts’ entry on the European Tour was denied. Despite playing without a victory during the 2002 Challenge Tour season, he finished tenth on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit to regain his 2003 European Tour membership. Colsaerts continued to play on the European Tour for the following four seasons. And he succeeded in 2019 as well.
