Established in 1915, PGA Championship has become one of the staple events in international golf. It is currently one of the four major championship events of both the PGA Tour and the European Tour.
Upcoming PGA Championship 2023 will mark its 105th annual edition. As usual, it will be a four-day long 72-par stroke play-based tournament. It is the second major golf championship of this season.
A total of 156 professional golfers will take part in the event this year. Only the top-class professionals from PGA Tour and European Tour will be in the field like in previous years. Fans are excited to see their favorite players compete in the Oak Hill course.
The event will feature a $15 million prize pool with a winner’s share of $2.7 million. It will be distributed among only the top 70 participants who make a cut during the initial two rounds. There will also be additional OWGR and FedEx Cup points rewards.
