Aspinall was born in Atherton in Greater Manchester, England. At the age of 7, he followed his father’s way steps by beginning to train in martial arts. He also trained in wrestling and boxing. In 2020, Aspinall was scheduled to make his debut against Raphael Pessoa at UFC fight nigh: Woodley vs Edwards. But due to injury, Pessoa was replaced Jake Collier still canceled this event due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Then this pair took place at UFC on ESPN 14. He won the fight via TKO in 1 round. He earned the Performace of the Night Award from this win. This was his first fight in UFC. The second fight was against Sergey Spivak at UFC Fight Night: Morcaes vs Sandhagen. Here Spivak was replaced for undisclosed reasons by newcomer Alan Boudot.
Aspinall won the fight via 1st round TKO. In 2021, he faced Andrei Arlovski at UFC Fight Night Blaydes vs Lewis. He won the fight in the 2nd round. Again he earned the Performance of the Night award from this fight. Next, Aspinall was expected to fight Sergei Pavlovich at UFC Fight Night 191. But Pavlovich was removed from the card due to alleged visa issues. So Pavlovich was replaced by Sergei Spivak and Aspinall won the fight via TKO in 1st round. He earned the third Performance of the Night bonus award.
In 2021, Aspinall was scheduled to fight Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC Fight Night 204. But it was announced that Aspinall would face Alexander Volkov and he won the fight via straight armbar submission in 1 round. He received again the Performance of the Night with this win. Now Aspinall is scheduled to face Curtis Blaydes at UFC Fight Night 208.
In 2014, Aspinall compiled an 8–0 amateur record. Then he turned professional. Then he went 5–0, with all wins via TKO. Then He signed with the UFC.
