The Bristol Dirt Race is a popular Bristol-based NASCAR Cup series event. It is a professional dirt race competition, currently titled “Food City Dirt Race.” The event was inaugurated in 1961 and has been running annually since.
The Upcoming Bristol Dirt Race 2023 will be a 250-lap race at the Bristol Motor Speedway like the previous two years. It will be divided into 3 stages – 100 laps in the first two each and 50 laps in the final. In addition, there will be pre-race free laps and qualifying stages like the standard NASCAR Cup series races.
This year’s NASCAR race at Bristol will feature a $7.8 million purse pool. A total of 37 professional stock car racers will participate in the upcoming three-stage race event. Defending champion, Kyle Busch will also be present as a member of the Richard Childress Racing team.
