The Next Gen ATP Finals is an annual men’s youth exhibition tennis competition held in Italy. While the event is not officially classified as an ATP Tour tournament, each match’s win-loss record is recorded under career ATP games. The tournament primarily attracts participants because of the huge prize money.

The event originated as a result of a collaboration between the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Italian Tennis Federation. The event is generally played over five days. The format consists of a two-group round-robin, followed by a semifinal and final.

In last year’s event, Carlos Alcaraz upset Sebastian Korda over 4-3, 4-2, and 4-2 sets, to become the defending champion of 2022. Although he initially qualified for the event but withdrew due to a recent major injury. As such, currently Lorenzo Musetti is the leading seed of the event.
